I love living to Christmas carols and one of my favorite is Little Drummer Boy! Music is such a great part of this season! So for my challenge I want to see a music note(s) or instrument on your page! This does not have to be Christmas themed! Have fun

Challenge: Day One - Do You Hear What I Hear
My challenge to you is based on the song, Do You Hear What I Hear. The song is one of my favorites but my challenge to you is based more on the title itself.
During our challenge period, create a layout about anything you want but the journaling has to be from someone elses point of view. For example: A child in the picture, journal what they see. A flower in the picture, journal about all the people that pass by. Those are just a few ideas to get you started.
Post your projects in this thread as well as in the gallery. We'd love to see what you come up with! Remember, you can do this more than once and the more you play, the better chance you have to win!!

25 Days of Christmas Challenges & Prizes!
The snow is starting to fall.......the holiday decorations are going up.....the Christmas lights are on.....the kids are making out their wish lists to send to Santa.....and the dream girls have all been singing their favorite Christmas carols and waiting for the big guy to come down their chimneys to grant all their scrappy Christmas wishes!!!! To help the big guy out Laura is feeling really generous at this fabulous time of year and is giving away MANY awesome prizes, including.....Kaiser Kraft papers & pearls, Bo Bunny, Basic Grey Eskimo kisses, Crop in styles totes & American Crafts, and one large prize for the winner valued at over $50.00!!!! All you have to do is come and play! There are reindeer games and challenges to make you merry!!!! From December 1st to December 25th a new challenge will be posted by one of the dream girls.....you have until January 8th to complete as many challenges as you can. For each project you complete you will recieve an entry into the draw for the large prize! PLUS Laura will be handing out random raks & each dream girl is hosting a game or tutorial with a prize too....told you Laura was feeling generous! (that or she has had too much egg nog!)

December at Dreamer
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Scrapbook Dreamer! The three wise kings bring gifts to the baby Jesus, while the little drummer boy plays and the angels sing on high while the shepherds watch their flock. Frosty is roasting chestnuts on the open fire while the sleighs go by playing their Jingle Bells. We deck our halls with silver and gold while Santa is coming to town in this winter wonderland!

Survive the Nightmare Blog Hop Challenge
One of the scariest movies of all time has to be the shining. I read the book and watched Jack Nicolson play the part of Jack Torrance the winter caretaker of an amazing resort located in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. He and his wife and son would be the only ones in the hotel for several months.
When Jack took his wife and young son to the Overlook Hotel, he had hopes of having time to be with his family and to write his novel. His wife hoped for a time to reconnect with her husband and to work through problems in the marriage.
There is so much to this story: Isolation, alcoholism, telepathy, clairvoyance, domestic violence, ghosts, death, and murder. I found it interesting that the hotel could put small little ideas in Jacks head to lead him to such violence against his family.
Let’s work with a couple of these topics (in a little less scary way) with our challenge.
I’m going to give you several different ideas to work with on this:
1. When you think about being isolated from the outside world (no phone, no car, no internet) for just 3 days with only your close family to keep you company, what comes to mind. What would you do or what have you done?
Do a layout with this idea in mind.
2. Have you ever experienced anything that seemed to be supernatural, clairvoyant, or unexplainable? Maybe it’s a dream that seemed a little too real. Maybe you've seen a ghost. I will even take something in the UFO realm.
Do a layout about that experience.
3. Speaking of hotels, do you have a favorite one to stay at when you are out of town? Why do you like it and why do you go there?
Or….
4. What about a mix of all 3 of the above: When you dream of getting away with just your family, where would you go and would it take some supernatural event (like winning the lottery) to make it happen?
NOW that you have an idea for a layout……ADD SOMETHING SHINY TO IT!!
